Hi my name’s Tim Halloran and I’ve been studying various forms of online business for several years now. I started out with eBay and quickly realised that affiliate marketing was the way to go.
The automation and ability to scale up to a global audience was what stood out to me with the affiliate marketing model
At the time, I was buying and selling stuff on eBay and my room was filled with stuff I couldn’t shift and various products waiting to be sold.
Affiliate marketing meant that I didn’t need to actually handle products myself or even deal with customers if I didn’t want to.
I looked to the internet after trying several careers as a means to earn a little extra money in between stunt contracts. I joined the British Equity Stunt Register as a stunt performer in 2002 and became a stunt performer. But work was very sporadic and I needed something to fill in in between jobs.
A passion for Wing Chun kung fu meant that in 2010 opened my own Wing Chun school, later teaching Wing Chun in Leeds.
I later realised the huge potential of the internet to create an income which meant I didn’t need to constantly trade my time for money any more. It took a bit of patience and tenacity to keep learning for the long term, but eventually it paid off when I discovered the power of a high ticket sales funnel.
High ticket products let you earn larger amounts per sale. Initially, I was using Clickbank to promote products valued at $100 or so. I needed to use free marketing techniques in order to make this viable. The problem was, the methods I had learned were pretty unreliable most of the time.
With high ticket products I was able to use paid marketing strategies and more easily recoup advertising budget. In addition, I also recommend using a sales funnel which has:
- Subscription based products – subscriptions mean you can earn commissions every month from previous sales and existing customers. You only need a few subscription sales to make a nice monthly income. This is far easier to do than continually selling product after product.
- Up-sells – choosing a high ticket sales funnel which also has up-sells in it means you can benefit from later sales closed by an in-house sales team. Just refer the initial products and benefit from higher valued sales made to your referral automatically. This could even be years after your initial sale.
- Multi-tier sales allow you to earn commissions based on the sales made by your team. Earning through your referral’s sales gives you another powerful earning method with the right business system.
Promoting high ticket sales funnels is really no different than promoting any other affiliate product on the internet. You can still use many of the same methods. The difference is that you can earn far more with these kinds of programs.
