So what exactly is a high ticket sales funnel? High ticket sales funnels can allow anyone to build a business from the comfort of their own home, or while travelling or working from anywhere in the world from their laptop.
‘High ticket’ refers to the products within the sales funnel which you’ll be selling. A low ticket item in contrast might be any products valued at say $100 or less. There’s a few reasons why you might opt to choose a high ticket sales funnel; especially one with digital products within it. Since high ticket products pay out the larger commissions, and digital products pay out larger percentages of the cost, high ticket digital products are an obvious choice.
In additino to making larger commissions, you can also choose more marketing strategies to promote your sales funnel. With lower value items, you’ll need to use more cost effective marketing strategies. Blogging and video creation are a couple of strategies which you’ll need to use for low value items. With higher ticket affiliate products, you can use many more forms and scale up more easily.
In particular, you should choose high ticket funnels with a range of income streams:
- High ticket items within your funnel to maximise profits and to allow the ability to use paid marketing and scale more easily.
- Subscription based products allow you to earn ongoing commissions from existing customers. One off items only pay your once. Subscription items pay you again and again.
- Up-sells – let you benefit from a built in sales team who close later sales on your behalf – earning commissions from existing customers for later purchases.
- Multi-tier commissions allow you to earn commissions on the sales of your team or your ‘referrals’.

Marketing your funnel takes a bit of understanding if you’re new to online marketing strategies. There’s many ways to market your funnel. Once you have a landing page which leads subscribers into your sales funnel, you’ll be able to promote it through various forms of marketing:

- Content marketing – e.g blogging and video creation
- Social media marketing – Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
If you have the time but less money, I would recommend content marketing. If the opposite is true, and you have money but no time, I would recommend paid marketing strategies such as:

If you have an income, keep your job and use the money to build a paid advertising strategy. As your membership begin to grow you’ll start to build a more solid income. Once this overtakes your current income, you can decide whether to quit the 9 to 5 job!
Once you have a profitable advert running, you can increase the budget and turn up the flow of customers into your business. If you have found a nice ‘vein of gold’ you’ll be in a good position to do this. However, don’t attempt to throw money at your business without have thoroughly investigated the marketing strategy you are using. It’s easy to burn through budget if you don’t know what you’re doing.
Once you find a few of these, you can start to see your business growing. Simply keep testing and measuring your advertising strategies and then move on to the next one.
